MLE Robotics @ Hugging Face LeRobot: Making AI for Robotics more accessible with end-to-end learning 🤖 i’m fortunate to be working on the biggest bottleneck in robotics—fixing the training pipeline by optimizing video decoding and making the robot learn faster and more efficiently. also adding a brand-new policy that achieves SOTA in robotics.
MLE Fellow @ Hugging Face: After an unfulfilling first year of college, I joined Hugging Face as a part-time dev to the Transformers library. Here, I work on implementing cutting-edge models, making AI more accessible while supporting the French community.
Interned at Qatar Computing Research Institute: As a Research Assistant, I developed the graph trajectory imputation pipeline used across the Middle East and co-authored a published paper on our findings.
Founded G12Uni.com: Co-founded G12Uni, a startup helping high school students choose the right university and major, a challenge I personally faced. We now receive 18K-40K visits per month and have established high school partnerships. Our goal is to become the go-to platform for university selection.
Waterloo CS Student: In my first year, I took advanced courses like CS 480 (Intro to ML) and CS 486 (Intro to AI), thanks to mentors Dr. Yao-Liang and Dr. Wenhu Chen. These experiences fueled my passion for AI and ML, leading to my work with Hugging Face.
Learning and Implementing AI: I became addicted to learning everything about AI and implementing it in PyTorch, which was key to my role at Hugging Face.
New Courses: I attended UW's new Foundations of LLMs course, which has been incredibly valuable to my growth.
Establishing a Tech Team: I'm building a team of tech students from top universities (UW, UofT, EPFL) to oversee a workforce in the Middle East and Africa. This team delivers data annotation services to North American companies, aiding in the development and deployment of effective AI and ML models.
